Pursuant to the provisions of SDCL 6-13-4, notice is hereby given that the School Board of Willow Lake School District #12-3, has declared the 2003 Ford Mid-Bus as surplus property at the regular November 14th, 2022 school board meeting, no longer necessary, useful, or suitable for the purpose it was acquired and has ordered the same sold by sealed bid.
Sealed bids for the 2003 Ford Mid-Bus will be publicly opened and read at the Willow Lake School District #12-3 regular Monday, December 12th, 2022 board meeting at 6:00 PM. Please mark bid envelope “Sealed Bid for 2003 Ford Mid-Bus”.
The School Board shall sell such property to the highest bidder. Furthermore, it is the winning bidder’s responsibility to remove said items that are located at the Willow Lake School Bus Garage, 400 Jackson Ave., within a suitable time frame arranged through School Administration.
The above-described surplus property is being sold “as is-where is” with no warranty implied or expressed by the Willow Lake School District #12-3. The Willow Lake School District #12-3 reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, and to waive any irregularities of any bid. The Willow Lake School District #12-3 also reserves the right to award the bid to the highest responsible bidder as may be determined by the School Board.
