Lower Elementary Colony Teacher-OPEN UNTIL FILLED

 

Willow Lake School District is seeking a dedicated Lower Elementary Colony Teacher to join our team and provide high-quality instruction to young learners at a local colony.

The successful candidate will create a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment while providing developmentally appropriate instruction that supports students academically, socially, and emotionally. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with students, families, and the colony community in a unique educational setting.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide engaging, standards-aligned instruction to lower elementary students.
• Establish a safe, respectful, and supportive classroom environment.
• Differentiate instruction to meet individual student learning needs.
• Teach foundational skills in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies.
• Monitor student progress and communicate student needs and accomplishments.
• Maintain accurate records and complete required assessments and documentation.
• Collaborate with district staff, parents, and colony leadership.
• Participate in professional development and district initiatives.
• Support students in developing positive work habits, independence, responsibility, and interpersonal skills.
• Follow Willow Lake School District policies, curriculum expectations, and state requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

Valid teaching certificate or the ability to obtain one via alternative certification

 

 

Music--Band/Vocal Teacher--The ideal candidate will inspire students through engaging music instruction, foster creativity, and help develop a lifelong appreciation for music. The position includes teaching general music classes, leading vocal and instrumental ensembles, performing concerts, participating in music contests, etc.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education

• Valid teaching certification
